Landau spectrum of monolayer MoS2 in a nonuniform magnetic field

Abstract: Monolayer MoS2 is a new kind of graphene - like materials,which exhibits many novel physical properties different from monolayer graphene due to the greater spin - orbit coupling. Based on the elementary concepts of quantum mechanics,the exotic Landau level structure in monolayer MoS2ubjected to a non -uniform   magnetic field is investigated by means of special function theory.
